As I sit and reflect upon my feelings for mom, I must add more...

Although my mom appeared frail at the end of her journey, she never once lost her strength.

Here are my thoughts about my mom. I was able to say a few words for her with the help of the strength I feel from mom:

My family would like to thank everyone for coming to commemerate the life of my loving mom

I know my mom wants this to be a happy celebration of her life, witnessed by her friends and her 4 generations of family.

To me, beauty and grace describes the way mom carried herself throughout her entire life.
Right to the very end, mom rarely complained, wouldn’t say a negative think about anyone,
and was the most unselfish person I will ever know. In fact, while she was just recuperating from surgery, the head nurse approached me and my brother and said, “Your mom is one of my all time favorite patients, she is just so filled with love.”

Anyone who is fortunate enough to know mom knows how true this is.

Lately I wonder how life just goes on. Then I realize that everyday life is filled with sweet reminders of the happy and some sad moments shared with mom. I want to celebrate all the beauty of life that surrounds us because now I see mom everywhere. And I think how lucky we all are to be able to hold her forever in our hearts.
