Anjani Girwarr

B. Anjani Girwarr December 27, 1961 – May 1, 2011 (Age 49) Anjani is now with her parents Baldeo and Lynn Girwarr and her brother Rajen Girwarr. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her brothers Rajen, Suren and Hindi; and her sister-in-laws Bridgett and Gayatri. She cherished and doted on her nieces Elane, Anjane, Annie, Payel, Pooja, and Maya. Anjani’s quick wit, kindness and empathy earned her many devoted friends; some who helped her on her final journey. Anjani shared her love of flying with foster children by creating an annual program that allowed children to follow their dreams of flight called “Project Foster Children Solo Flight”. Anjani graduated from Florida International University and Capital University Law School. She was a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Bar Aviation Law Committee and was registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She was an Assistant General Counsel at the Florida Department of Transportation. Anjani was brave, strong and admired by many; she will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 5th, 2011 from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will take place at 5:00 P.M. during the visitation on Thursday.
