Bernard Joseph Gonsalves Bernard Joseph Gonsalves passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the age of 68. Bernard was born in Guyana, South America and migrated to Canada in 1972 and later migrated to the United States in 2002. We will fondly remember him with his eager spirit to enjoy life, a lover of books (a life long learner), music, traveling, fitness and nutrition. He was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Bernard Joseph Gonsalves will forever be remembered by Jean (Margaret Gariba) his beautiful and loving wife of 48 years. He will also be remembered by his two children Margaret and Catherine, four grandchildren (Paolo, Brittany, Kyle and Caitlin) and a whole host of family members (ten brothers and sisters). A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on December 27th, 2011 from 11:00 A.M.-12:30 P.M. at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located directly across the street from Northwest Medical Center on 441 south of Sample Road, 2950 North State Road 7 Margate, Fl 33063, 954.977.5244. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated after the Visitation at 1:00 P.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, located at 1401 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs, Florida 33071 954-753-3330 Entombment will immediately follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery located at 1500 S State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL (954) 972-1234. The family would like to extend an open invitation to gather at the Baird residence following the conclusion of the funeral services.
