Edward "Ed" Fiammetta

Edward "Ed" Fiammetta, 64, of Tamarac, Florida passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at University Hospital in Tamarac under Vitas Hospice Care. He is survived by his partner of 37 years, Terrance Liffland, his daughter Missy and his three sisters, Rosalie, Teresa and Jeannie. A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Savino Funeral Home & Cremation Services located 2950 North State Road 7 Margate, FL 33063, www.savinofuneralhome.com, 954.977.5244. He had a dynamic personality. His laugh would fill a room. There is no way that you could spend more than five minutes with him without laughing at his jokes or comments about the situation. You always knew where you stood with him. He would tell you clearly what he thought, when he thought it, with absolutely no filter at all. If your outfit was wrong he would scream at you, “What the hell are you wearing?” If he thought what you said was stupid he would have no problem telling you that you were-- and that you should stop breathing for a while because you were annoying him. He was a clean freak. You could always find him chasing dirt with either a hand vac or Handi Wipe and Clorox Clean Up in his hand. Glade Plug-Ins made a fortune off of him. He liked his house to have a nice stink! He was also defined best as an accumulator. As soon as he purchased something he wanted he would find something else that he “always” wanted! Ed loved to be entertained and he loved to entertain! He loved the phrase, “I am not yelling, I am Italian and that is how we speak—so go f yourself!” Ed was someone who you would remember! He was someone who loved the people in his life dearly. He was just someone who you would remember.
