Frank P. Barcia

Frank Barcia, 87, of Margate, FL passed away at Florida Medical Center of natural causes under the care of Vitas Innovative Hospice Care on Friday, March 9, 2012. He was born on March 26, 1924 in New York City to Domanico and Rosa Barcia. After proudly serving in the US Army during WWII, Frank married Rose Marie Tanzola on June 22, 1947. The couple had two daughters and moved their family to South Florida in 1957. Frank opened B&T Amoco, Margate's only gas and service station, which he owned and operated until he retired in 1986. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Charlie and Joe; his sister Frances and his wife Rose, who also passed away on March 9th, eighteen years ago. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marie and Roger Jette; his daughter, Debbie Hunt; granddaughters, Dina Jette Montgomery, Melanie Hunt Marques, Christal Hunt Cullymore and Barbara Hunt DiMiceli; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marty and Sal; sister, Sarah; sister-in-law, Jean Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
