John DeSantis, 66, of Coconut Creek, FL, passed away on February 26, 2012. John was a beloved husband to Gabriella DeSantis, father to Dominic and Anthony DeSantis, and grandfather to Nicolas DeSantis. John proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war and gave back to the armed forces. His goals in life included making sure that everyone he met was happy and passing on some of life’s lessons. He opened his heart and home to everyone in his life in order to make them feel like they were part of the family. Whether it was advice, a spot at the dinner table, or just the ability to lend a helping hand, John would do anything in his power to assist those around him. We thank everyone who shared memories in his life because John was put on this earth to positively impact everyone who had to the privilege of knowing him.
