Josephine Haily Vianney

Mrs. Duc JeanMarie Vianney, née Lý Th? H?i, left us on the 4th of November, 2011 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA. She was born on the 25th day of November, 1942 in the village of Xa Phiên, Rach Gia, Vietnam. She spent her primary school in Rach Gia, secondary school at Nguyen Trung Truc HS, Rach Gia and Gia Long HS, Saigon. She graduated from the University of Texas in El Paso in 1974 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics and from The University of Louisiana in Lafayette in 1978 with a Masters of Science in Statistics. She has worked for the Defense Language Institute—Department of Defense, the University of Texas in El Paso, the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, Computer Sciences Corp. in Arlington, VA, Bell Labs in Holmdel, NJ, and Chatfield Dean in Boca Raton, FL. Specializing in financial investments, Mrs. Vianney was a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). She is the founder and president of Haily Investments, a financial investment company in Austin, Texas. She was a member of the Financial Planning Association, and went to St Petersburg, Russia in 2009 as a delegate of the People to People organization to foster investment relationships between the USA and Russia. She loved to travel and had visited more than 30 countries worldwide. In 1968, she married Dr. Duc Jean Marie Vianney. They have two daughters, Lucy KyDuyen and Jeannie KyDieu. Lucy and her husband, John Mondrosh, have a daughter Naya Mondrosch. A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in the Large Chapel on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 12:30 P.M.
