Legacy of Moises Martinez Our life is recorded by the footsteps we leave behind in the sands of time, and the impressions residing in the hearts and minds of those we love, and those who love us. Moises Martinez was born in Guatemala and became a master tailor sought after by heads of state, and prominent members of society; he was an impeccable dresser and made suits that fit to perfection. Moises was also a philosopher and seeker of knowledge throughout his life. The cornerstone of his life was his family. Moises with his wife Candida, brought into the world Julio, Vicky, Gustavo, Dominique (Conchita), Fernando, Ligia, and Lucky Martinez. Moises was the guiding light of the family, anchored by the gentle love of his wife; he taught his children the importance of education, human development, and moral values. Moises instilled in his children, the importance of integrity, hard work, and concern for others. His immortality will be reflected in his children, grand children, and their children. Moises studied at San Carlos University, in Guatemala, and was a pioneer of human development in his country, and the first National Leader of the Asociacion de Meditacion Transcendental. Moises’ legacy is told in the memories, and expressions of those who loved him. He was a sociable conversationalist, who was always available with advice. His family will miss him, but he will be remembered forever in loving memories, and the happy and tender times he shared with his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May Moises be living in the light of the infinite, and enjoying the eternal love. Moisés Martínez nació en Guatemala y se convirtió en un renombrado Maestro Sartorial exigido por jefes de estado y miembros prominentes de la sociedad. Vestía impecablemente y diseñaba trajes a la perfección. Fue también un filósofo y a lo largo de toda su vida un ávido explorador de nuevos conocimientos. La piedra angular de su vida fue su familia. Moisés y su esposa Cándida trajeron a este mundo a Julio, Vicky, Gustavo, Dominique (Conchita), Fernando, Ligia y Lucky Martinez. Cimentado en el delicado amor de su esposa, Moisés fue el faro de luz que guió a la familia. Enseñó a sus hijos la importancia de la educación, del desarrollo humano y de los valores morales. Inculcó en ellos la importancia de la integridad, del trabajo dedicado y del amor al prójimo. Su inmortalidad será reflejada en sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos, y los hijos de éstos. Moisés estudió en la Universidad de San Carlos en Guatemala y fue pionero en el area de desarrollo humano en el país convirtiéndose en el primer Lider Nacional de la Asociación Guatemalteca de Meditación Trascendental. Fue siempre un conversador muy sociable y siempre estaba dispuesto a dar un buen consejo. El legado de Moisés va a recidir en las memorias y expresiones de aquellos que lo amaron. Su familia lo va a extrañar pero su memoria perdurará por siempre a travez de los recuerdos amorosos y de las muchas ocasiones felices y tiernas que compartió con sus hijos, hijas, nietos y bisnietos. Que Moisés esté morando en la luz del infinito y disfrutando del amor eterno celestial.
