Phyllis Lee Gray

Phyllis Lee Gray, 79, resident of Margate, Florida and life time resident of Metamora, Michigan passed away on September 17, 2011. Daughter of the late Stephen and Alta (Bernard Majewski) Beckwith. She is survived by her sister, Eloise Busha of Swartz Creek, Michigan and brother Clinton Beckwith of Ocala, Florida. She is survived by her loving husband Duane Gray of nearly 62 years; Children: Kathy (Stan) Kossowsky, Nancy ( Bob) Frazier, Cheryl (Tim) Machak, Tim (Jeanne) Gray and Scott (Lynn) Gray. Cherished grandchildren: Nick Machak, Katie (Peter) Policastro, Rebecca (Steve) Curtis, Jason (Alison) Gray, Erin Kossowsky, Taylor Gray, Devon, Tara & Tyler Gray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a devoted and loving wife; mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with her family. After retiring from General Motors she enjoyed her summers in Michigan and the winters in Florida. A Celebration of Life Visitation with a Service will take place from 4:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located directly across the street from Northwest Medical Center on 441 south of Sample Road, 2950 North State Road 7 Margate, Fl 33063, 954.977.5244. A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 P.M. following the Visitation and will be officiated by Pastor Fred Uhl Jr. from Church by the Glades. A gathering will take place in Michigan for family and friends not able to attend the Florida service at a later time.
