Dear Pottruck Family:

We were saddened to read about the passing of Val in Thursday’s newspaper. Although we did not know the entire family, we had met Val and Jeff a few times over at the house on Bonita Beach ("Crusty"). For the past 10 years or so, we rented the bottom portion of the house the week after Thanksgiving. We always loved the house and the area and especially enjoyed the hospitality that Val provided at the house. She was always very helpful before, during and after our trip. We tried to keep her informed of any needs at the house so she could make the place even better. We also enjoyed hearing about the family get togethers and her love for animals. We join her in that regard and have two rescue dogs as well.

We wanted to offer our condolences to the family and hope that her passing was quick and pain free. We do not know if she was ill or if this was unexpected.

Take pride in the fact that she was full of life, loved all creatures and made everyone around her feel loved.

With great sadness,

Dave and Wendy

Thank goodness for CSFF, as I instantly noticed this very, tan but amazing woman, that was Valerie. My daughter was lucky enough to have Hayley as her coach. From that moment on we hit it off instantly. I had felt like I had known her for years. It was strange but so wonderful. She touched everyone's lives, even all the pets! Being lucky enough to share with Jeff, Valerie, Adam, Hayley and all their wonderful friends and family so many great times and fond memories.Never to be forgotten.
Sending extra support, prayers and strength.

Love,
Marc, Rebecca, Drew, Haley

There are no words to express our sadness over the loss of Valerie. She was a beautiful presence in every life she touched.
We are all blessed to have a beautiful angel watching over us. Val taught us all how to live, love and enjoy life!!!

The Errante family sends their love, thoughts, and prayers to the family. She was so devoted to her children. As an angel, she will be watching over them still, for sure.

We had the good fortune of meeting Val at there annual "Xmas/pierogi party. It was clear that they were a close, loving family. Now they carry on with Val watching over them. I suspect the pierogis in heaven are better than the ones I made at the party!
I feel honored to have been a part of the family tradition and to have met Val. I have heard nothing but good things about the family from our dear friends Mary and Tim.
Please accept our deepest condolences. My heart goes out to the family in this difficult time and please remember "grief is like a bar of soap it gets smaller each day."

Much love,
David & Abigail Oswald
