Chi-Chang "Steve" Shen

~Please Scroll Down for English~ 南佛州知名餐飲業主-沈其昌 Steve Shen 於九月三日因病過世，享年六十六歲. 將於九月十二日週六下午兩點至四點在 Coral Springs funeral home 安排親友瞻仰遺容，四點舉行追悼儀式，之後將安葬於 Boca Raton 墓園 。 沈其昌於1948年10月21日生於台北,父Denny Shen,母Chung-Hsiu Chao. 另有兄弟Denny 和 David, 妹妹Jeannie. 在沈其昌大學畢業及服役後，於1974年12月與家人移民來美，成為南佛州成功的華人餐飲業者，與夫人張仁婉結婚四十一年，伉儷情深。 沈其昌稟其北方人的豪爽個性，熱心助人，善待員工，廣結善緣，更經常支持各種華人社區活動。其開辦過的餐廳陸續有 East Wind restaurant, Vinny's Italian American restaurant, Steve's Prime Seafood and Steak House, 最知名的為 Tamarac 及 珊瑚泉市的 北京東京 Peking Tokyo。 Steve 沈喜愛運動，高爾夫球、籃球、足球..幽默風趣，最愛看ESPN體育台。也喜歡唱歌、跳舞，北京東京曾經是南佛州華人卡拉OK的最佳去處，也曾在早期就舉辦過華人歌唱大賽，轟動一時。 Steve 沈夫妻為虔誠的基督徒，衷心信仰及伺奉主耶穌，喜愛閱讀聖經，如願蒙主寵召，安祥辭世。 Steve沈及愛妻Julie,育有一兒一女，Edwin 及媳婦Sheila,孫女Serafina,及女兒Diana.女婿Luis . 家庭幸福美滿。 Steve沈 為家庭及事業盡心盡力，但不幸英年早逝，家人及親友皆不甚悲痛與追思。 Chi-Chang "Steve" Shen, 66, of Coral Springs, FL passed away on September 03, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on October 21, 1948 in Taipei, Taiwan to Denny and Chung-Hsiao Shen. Upon graduating from University, he served a mandatory two years with the military in Taiwan. His family immigrated to the United States in December of 1974. Steve was an avid golfer and loved ESPN, football and basketball. He was a sensible man with an open mind, great sense of humor, and an uncanny ability to offer advice and help others. His hobbies included ballroom dancing, composing songs, and playing instruments. One of Steve's greatest passions, however, was God. He was a faithful servant to our Lord and loved to read the bible. Throughout his life, Steve tried his hand at being an entrepreneur in many fields. He was most successful as a restaurateur, owning and operating restaurants such as Peking Tokyo, Steve's Prime Seafood and Steakhouse, East Wind Restaurant, Chicken Now, Vinny's Italian Restaurant, and The Lounge. Steve is survived by his wife of 41 years, Julie; his children, Edwin and Diana; granddaughter, Serafina; and his siblings, Denny, David, and Jeannie. Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Coral Springs Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 P.M. and Steve will be laid to rest following cremation at Boca Raton Cemetery.
