Gregory W. "Greg" Harper, 72, of Coral Spring, Florida passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at his residence with his family at his side. Greg was born in Chicago, IL to Harry and Estelle on September 15, 1939. Greg’s passion for life manifested itself in his long battle with cancer. His courage was matched only by the love for his family, faith, his positive attitude and sense of humor. Gregory is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years: Sharon, his cherished 4 children: Lori Palombo, Jeffrey Harper, Shawna (John) Scott and Kristin (Robin) Rees, his 5 sister's, 4 brother's, and his 6 adored grandchildren: Christopher Palombo, Amanda Scott, Austin Scott, Justin Harper, Sean Rees and Mia Rees, and cherished great granddaughter: Lillianna Scott-Santiago. A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located directly across the street from Northwest Medical Center on 441 south of Sample Road, 2950 North State Road 7 Margate, Fl 33063, 954.977.5244. A Celebration of Life Wake Service will take place during the visitation at 7:00 P.M.and will be officiated by Rev. Craig Malzacher, Parochial Vicar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2012 with Rev.
