Grisel Christina Bello

Grisel Bello, (also known as Ma, Mommy, Gammy, Titi and Titi Sel), 54, resident of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away on November 4, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Margate, after a long battle with an illness. Grisel was born on June 12, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Rosa Matesanz along with her brother Ricardo Matesanz. She was married on July 1, 1995 to Rafael Bello in Coconut Creek, Florida. Although she held a few jobs over the years, the most notable that she enjoyed was as a contractor for the US Navy. She was mostly known for being a loving housewife, mother, daughter, sister and friend with an open door policy for anyone who wanted a snack, chat, and a laugh. Armed with an amazing sense of humor she had an aura around that made you smile and let everyone know it was going to be OK. She was a non-judging, loyal, true friend to everyone. Unless they touched her feet. She is survived by her husband Rafael Bello, Edward Marco Viana, and Amanda Brush all of Coral Springs. Also, by her granddaughter Mariah Ward, her mother Rosa Matesanz and a long list of family members both local and far including sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, tias and tios. She is preceded by one of the true loves of her life Kimba, her Dalmation and best friend of many years. A Celebration of Life Visitation with a Wake will take place from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Savino-Weissman Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A Wake Service will be held during the Visitation at 7:00 P.M. and will be officiated by Deacon John from St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
